'Chicago to Charminar': McDonald's opens largest overseas Innovation Hub in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Global fast-food giant McDonald's has strengthened its international presence with the inauguration of its largest overseas Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad's HITEC City, a move expected to boost the regional economy.
The state-of-the-art facility, spread over 1.56 lakh square feet, was formally opened on Wednesday by Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Minister for IT and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu. Designated as McDonald's Global Hub for Innovation and Enterprise Operations, the centre will focus on technology, data analytics, finance, and other corporate functions critical to the company's worldwide operations. The GCC is set to directly employ more than 1,200 highly skilled professionals.
