The Ministry of Defence approved the proposal for the construction of Elevated Corridor on  Hyderabad-Nagpur National Highway along with the Hyderabad-Karimnagar Rajiv Highway. The #defence ministry  cleared for the construction of elevated corridors across defence lands in Hyderabad.

Hon'ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy met with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in #Delhi on January 5 and appealed to the Minister to permit the development of elevated corridors across defence lands. Responding to the CM’s plea, the union government issued permit orders for the construction of elevated corridors today  morning. The CM thanked Prime Minister Sri Narendra #Modi, Defence Minister and the officials of Defence wing for permitting the construction of corridors which helps for the development of Hyderabad city.

The CM requested the Defence Minister to allot 83 acres of land for the construction of a six-lane elevated corridor from #Paradise Junction to Outer Ring Road Junction on Rajiv Road connecting Hyderabad to Karimnagar-Ramagundam and the  construction of entry and exit ramps  for a total 11.30 km corridor construction. The development of elevated corridors from Hyderabad to Shamirpet and Hyderabad to Kandlakoya will promote the fast pace development of the North side of the  Hyderabad city. The arrogant attitude adopted by the previous government stalled the #development of the elevated corridors for years. The Chief Minister expressed happiness that the pending issue  for the last 8 years has been resolved. The CM said that the new government has succeeded in getting approvals in just 80 days and it displayed the sincerity of the government  in the development of the state.

The CM recalled, during his every visit to New Delhi, that he submitted memoranda to the Union Ministers requesting them to address the state issues. The CM said he is ready to meet anyone to protect the state interests and continue to maintain cordial relations with the centre for the development of the state. CM Sri Revanth Reddy made it clear that the interests of the Telangana state are his top agenda regardless of #political disputes and party ideologies. As per the instructions of the defence ministry, the state will start the construction of the elevated corridors soon.
