Swarnagiri Temple: Grand ‘Pran Pratishtha’ on 6th March at Manepally Hill, Week-long devotional Program

Swarnagiri Manepally: The consecration (Pran-Pratishtha) of grand idol of Lord Venkateswara has been scheduled at 11:06 am on March 6th, 2024, at Swarnagiri Temple, Manepalli Hills, Bhuvangiri. The construction of the temple with excellent architecture has been completed. Seeing the grandeur of the temple, it is believed that Swarnagiri Temple will be recognized as a major center of religious attraction in Telangana. However, devotional programs will start from coming March 1st itself, for which the general public has been invited through media invitation held today in Hyderabad. It is believed that a large number of devotees not only from Telangana but also from nearby states will reach the temple to participate in the religious activities.


How to reach Swarnagiri Temple from Hyderabad?

Swarnagiri Temple is about 47 kilometers from Hyderabad. However, from Uppal Junction you will have to travel only 38.7 kilometers via NH 163. In barely half an hour’s journey by road from Hyderabad, you can reach Swarnagiri temple premises. From Hanamankonda you will have to leave the highway and travel about half kilometer. There is great curiosity about this temple among devotees especially in Telugu states. In view of the program starting from March 1st, arrangements have been made for conveniences to maintain for devotees.


Yadadri Tirumala Devasthanam

The maintenance of the temple will be done by Yadadri Tirumala Devasthanam. During the consecration of the idol on March 6th, many saints and mahatmas including prominent Tridandi Chinna Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swami ji will be present. Apart from Pran Pratistha, there will be program of Mahakumbabhishekam also to be performed. Three major idols are to be consecrated in the grand temple, which include the idols of Sri Padmavati, Godadevi and Sri Venkateswara Swamy.

The invitation for the grand inauguration and consecration of the temple has been given by well-known industrialist and jeweler Manepalli Group Chairman Manepalli Rama Rao, his wife Vijayalakshmi and other family members. The previous and present government of Telangana also had full cooperation in the grand construction and inauguration of the temple.

Hyderabad : Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swami on Wednesday consecrated ( Prana Prathista ) the newly-built Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple at Swarnagiri near Bhongir, ending a week-long Vedic rituals. The new temple is considered one of the beautiful and biggest Balaji temples in south India . It was built under the leadership of Manepalli Muralikrishna and Manepalli Gopikrishna.
