  Hurdles cleared for 182-km stretch of Regional Ring Road project Updated - February 21, 2024 at 10:17 AM. |  Hyderabad Government approves 182-km Southern stretch of Hyderabad’s Regional Ring Road project, aiming to ease traffic and promote urban centres BY  BL HYDERABAD BUREAU   The Union Government has given the go-ahead for the 182-km Southern stretch of the ambitious Regional Ring Road (RRR) project in Hyderabad. The 340-km RRR project, which encircles the State capital, is aimed at decongesting the traffic in the city and promoting urban satellite centres along the road.   Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways has instructed the NHAI (National Highway  Authority of India ) officials to prepare the proposals to declare the southern section of RRR as the  national highway. Hyderabad : Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swami on Wednesday consecrated ( Prana Prathista ) the newly-built Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple at Swarnagiri near Bhongir, ending a week-long Vedic rituals. The new temple is considered one of the beautiful and biggest Balaji temples in south India . It was built under the leadership of Manepalli Muralikrishna and Manepalli Gopikrishna. Around 25,000 devotees, including some VVIPS, participated in the consecration, while over a lakh people visited the temple in the last one week. It is built on a hilltop in a 22 acre land owned by the Manepali family. The hill, where the new temple was built, was named "Swarnagiri", while the temple will be called "Yadadri Tirumala Devasthanam". The temple will follow the traditions of Sri Pancharatra Agama and Tennacharya Sampradayam.
